Im link darf ich Euch eine Information zum „Land Youth Negotiator Programme 2024“ übermitteln. Hier eine kurze Beschreibung:

The Land Youth Negotiator Programme (LYNP) is our second global programme aimed to enable and empower the next generation of negotiators at the UNCCD negotiations and was recently launched at the twenty-first session of the Committee for the Review of the Implementation of the Convention (CRIC 21), in Samarkand, Uzbekistan

The LYNP aims to empower and equip youth negotiators by:

Improving young people’s negotiation and leadership capabilities needed to participate effectively in the UNCCD negotiations and strengthen the delegation overall, as well as seeing young people as positive agents of change; and
Delivering systemic change by ensuring youth participation in Party Delegations, therefore delivering a proportional and positive global outcome.

In order to achieve the above mentioned goals, LYNP pursues four core work streams:

Bridging skill and capability gaps through tailored online and in-person training on UNCCD processes as well as leadership skills;
Connecting youth negotiators with their peers, creating a community of young changemakers for professional networking purposes as well as positive peer support mechanisms;
Removing funding barriers to participation through travel and subsistence grants; and
Advocacy with governments to support them to meaningfully integrate youth negotiators into their delegations.
